PROJECT OFFICER NEEDED
Summary of the role:
The holder of this role will an independent worker who will assist the Executive Director and the board in operationalising the foundations strategy through outreach, resource mobilisation and office management. Most fistula surgeries are therefore only carried out with funding from non-governmental organizations but even these are quite limited due to the lack of awareness and stigma associated with the condition. Many women therefore continue to suffer in silence. It is considered as a poor women’s disease and as such rarely given the attention it deserves.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Project management or related field
• MS Office Proficient– Word, PowerPoint, Excel among others

Reporting to and in collaboration and consultation with the Executive Director, the Project officer will;
Plan, Coordinate and participate in fistula awareness campaigns and activities.
▪ Scheduling board meetings and taking minutes.
▪ Source for partnerships and resource mobilization.
▪ Ensures technical documents of the foundation and its projects are properly developed, regularly reviewed and safeguarded.
▪ Update the foundation’s online communication portals (website and social media),and ensure a positive image of the foundation at all times.
▪ Collating Contracts and reports; and updating these from time to time to ensure that the executive director and the board are fully aware and up to date with any changes in the contracts and or reports.
▪ Maintain an up-to-date profile of all partners to the Foundation.
▪ Drafting donor presentations and formatting documents.
▪ Keep quality and consistent records of the foundation’s community outreach programmes and activities; including but not limited to the Fistula community related works and impacts.
▪ Any other duties as may be assigned.
